About me

Hi, my name is Kevin Burgess. I am young man of faith with a passion for the outdoors. I love a challenge, am determined to succeed and don't mind a good laugh. This year I have embarked on a Certificate in Outdoor Education at Tai Poutini Polytechnic which I have grasped with both hands. It was definitely a challenge to get here, given that I had been accepted onto the course twice before, however two significant shoulder injuries prevented me from attending. With persistence and a dream of one day becoming an Outdoor Instructor, here I am weeks away from passing the year. I have ambitions to complete a Diploma in Outdoor Instruction and Guiding, go travelling and work as an instructor at Outward Bound. So watch this space!
